Login Email Address:
A confirmation email will be sent and must be confirmed. You can change the address the lists are sent to when you log in.
NOTE: Yahoo! addresses are bouncing (Reason: Remote host said: 451 Message temporarily deferred - 4.16.50) due to Yahoo!'s idiotic plan to greylist most mail servers so we are rejecting all Yahoo! addresses. See this page for further details. It is out of our control, the confirmation message WILL bounce and you won't be able to complete your membership request, sorry, complain to the appropriately named Yahoo! AOL, Comcast and CompuServe addresses will not work due to their flawed spam policies. Please complain to AOL, Comcast or CompuServe, it is out of our control. Mail.com addresses make up 95% of the formspam on this form so we are now rejecting memberships in that domain.
If you use spamarrest.com (or similar) to filter your email, please obtain and use a different email address. "Verification" emails sent to webboy.net and webstandardsgroup.org will be bounced. DO NOT manually add (verify) our email address to the spamarrest database. Spamarrest are known spammers and adding ANY email address to their "verified" database manually is an invasion of that person's privacy and a violation of their rights. If they choose to verify themselves, it's their own problem.

You agree that you are subscribing only your own email address (or an email address that you are authorised to subscribe) and that anything posted by you to the discussion list or web site may become a permanently available public resource. We reserve the right to hide emails from the members only archive if the need arises, but will not edit the content of an archived email apart from activating hyperlinks, possibly hiding email addresses and removing list generated text.
Your subscribed email address is used only by the list server for your subscription and for your login to this site and will not be used by the hosts of the Web Standards Group for any purpose other than those related directly to your subscription, or related confidential communication about the Web Standards Group. It will never be provided by us to any other party for any reason. However, you understand that your email address will be visible to other members on the discussion list when you post to it, and therefore (at this stage) in the members-only list archive as well.
In short, we won't spam you and we won't sell or give your address away.
Posts to the discussion list will be PERMANENTLY archived by mail-archive.com. Email addresses are stripped for your protection but replies are available via submission of a form.
Before posting to the discussion list, please check that you are happy with the reply mechanism on that web site. IT IS POSSIBLE that a spambot could scrape and reconstruct your email address from that form.
You understand that on submission of this form and whenever you log into the site, your IP address will be logged and that any malicious behaviour (including subscribing a non-authorised email address, re-subscribing without explicit permission after being banned from the list, using any foul language or using the discussion list to send spam) will have you banned from the discussion list and the site, and may result in legal action.
These conditions are subject to change without notice. Please check back here often to keep up to date.
The list operates under a set of guidelines. Please ensure you read them carefully as posting to the list outside these guidelines may have you unsubscribed or banned from the list.
Please check this box if you have read, fully understand and agree to the conditions above (including the list guidelines).
