Web Standards Group Casual, Aug 13, Darling Harbour, Sydney. It will be a blast.
The social event for anyone interested in “website creation the right way” is slated for Thursday August 13, 6:30PM at the Pumphouse, Darling Harbour, Sydney.
Proudly sponsored and supported by Campaign Monitor, Happener, and @nickhodge c/o Microsoft, the WSG Casual goes from strength to strength with this event, where we announce a new name and an expanded mandate looking into 2010.
We listened to your suggestions, tapped into the webgheist and scoured the horizon of future trends to plan the kind of event you say you want. In particular you want it to be industry wide, attracting not only the best of the developer community, but also strategists, designers, project managers, marketers and SEO specialists.
No lectures, presentations or PowerPoint slides, but plenty of interesting people keen on ensuring considered design and development stays at the forefront of web projects.
And as always, expect a few surprises! It'll be a blast!
