We know you like to attend the Web Standards Group events, which are presentation-focussed and a good way to keep connected with movers and shakers in the HTML-coding community and your colleagues and competitors in the industry.

Last year we asked you all if you'd be interested in meeting up in a more social, networking based environment to discuss Web and email standards in a more casual setting, and many of you said yes.

We have answered your call by arranging the inaugural Sydney WSG Casual, hosted at the Pumphouse, Darling Harbour, Sydney on Thursday April 23. Graciously sponsored by Happener and Traction you will be able to network and discuss web and email standards with fellow members of the Web Standards Group and other experts.

No lectures, presentations or PowerPoint slides, plenty of interesting people keen on discussing how to keep standards-compliance at the forefront of current projects.
